Inaugural addresses by newly elected members, commemorative lectures on deceased colleagues, and academic articles are published in the Academy Yearbook. The Yearbook also contains a register of members and data about the Academy’s current activities.
As of 1906 the Academy has published Fornvännen (Friend of the Past), the leading journal of Swedish antiquarian research. It is published with funding from the Swedish Research Council.
Added to these periodicals is the sometimes extensive publication of academic works, either as free-standing monographs or parts of long-established series. Most are published in Swedish, often with an English summary, but many directly target an international audience.
All publications of the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities can be borrowed, either onsite or remotely, from the Academy Library.
